Dont you read news? chinese anime are censored, they ban harem, timetravel, gay stuff, tatoo, too much nude stuff.
So a character can have lot of girl around him, some love triangle, few fanservice and suggested relationship... but that cannot be a real harem with explicit content, its better to know this before complaining.
when you know it , its not so bad, you can focus on history instead sexual content, and parents ca nsafely let kid watch chinese anime, they know its safier than japanese one....and finally i'm from a generation before the internet, where erotism was the only thing you could hope see at tv as a kid, nowaday each kid can find porn and hentai at smartphone, i think imagination is better real stuff.
